2012!! AAAAAHHHHHH

So lets see...

Although it may be February at the moment, I firmly believe it's still the beginning of a new year. And as tradition, a new year is made with new goals in mind.

I've decided being the nerd that I am, to read as I usually do, but to keep track of 1) the books that I've read, and 2) the number of books I've read by the end of this year.

I read a lot as it is, this I already know. But at work the other day, a coworker asked me, "How many books have you read in the past year?" It got me to thinking....I really don't know!

SO HERE WE GO. A new year, a new blog, and new books.

This blog is for me not only to keep track of my reading, but to also give my opinions on the book s that I've read and my recommendations. I like to think that I'm a good judge when it comes to books....

Maybe I should just say, that since the beginning of this year I've found myself with a lot of extra time to actually dedicate to some good 'ol fashioned reading. As such,  have read 10 books already. The picture attached to this blog is a picture of the books I've read...with the slanted one being my nook which holds all the rest.

I like my nook I do, but I'm one of those readers who like the feel of the pages and the satisfaction of putting a finished book onto my bookshelf and watching it get full and absolutely disorganized! But hell, I bought the damn thing so I have to use it at least HALF the time!

So yes, let this year be grand and hopefully you enjoy the ride with me!
